All the breeders listed in our database follow what we consider to be good
breeding practices — practices that are beneficial to the breed as a whole
and to prospective owners. A list of our objective criteria are
shown here. Additional good
breeding practices followed by some are shown in the following table. This information is provided as food
for thought, both for breeders and for buyers.
Please note: these criteria are subject to change, probably to
include more exacting criteria in the future. Buyers and breeders should
review this alternative list carefully as we advise buyers to use these
